Pine Biotech has been working together with several universities around the world to pilot the OmicsLogic training program. A typical pilot included 10-100 participants, both students and faculty, that dedicated regular time to review the online courses, project examples and hands-on workshops dedicated to various aspects of bioinformatics.
The case studies demonstrate how our unique materials and services help address a pressing challenge – the application of data science principles to biomedical data. The approach has shown to be effective in a variety of contexts – undergraduate extra credit courses, pan-campus setting as well as for graduate research support. We are continuing to review and improve our materials and are refining our approach to make sure the OmicsLogic training program, online educational courses, and our T-BioInfo platform help to make bioinformatics more accessible to everyone.
