Amity University Bioinformatics Training Program
Bioinformatics is a discipline that combines biology, statistics, and computer science. Data analysis skills are essential for modern biology and are at the core of scientific discovery. In this bioinformatics training program, we will explore bioinformatics concepts in a project setting, offering insights into the typical problems addressed by a bioinformatician and explaining the analysis logic. The program does not require any prerequisites, apart from basic biology concepts.

Bioinformatics for Next Generation Sequencing
The rapid growth of high-throughput data, including -omics technologies, gave rise to data-driven discovery in life sciences. As a result, there is a significant demand for data science skills and experience with bioinformatics methods of analysis. Once a peripheral discipline you could easily outsource, bioinformatics is quickly becoming mainstream in life science research. Many high impact journals will only publish if a rigorous bioinformatics analysis is included in the results and methods portions of the publication. In this course, we will explain the logic of bioinformatics analysis and allow for user-friendly applications of bio-statistical and machine learning techniques to a variety of biomedical challenges.

Bioinformatics for Precision Oncology
Precision medicine is changing the way we understand, diagnose and treat cancer. The transformation is driven by high-throughput molecular data from patients, animal models, and large-scale experiments. In this program, we will explore how the various -omics data types can be analyzed to understand the basic biology associated with cancer onset, development, and outcomes and see how large-scale clinical trials and experiments provide an opportunity to improve precision oncology.

Institute of Genetic Engineering
Bioinformatics is a discipline that combines biology, statistics, and computer science. Data Analytics skills are essential for biologists and are at the core of scientific discovery. In fact, biology is evolving into data science and for those uncomfortable with computational analytics, mathematics, and statistics, getting started can be a significant challenge. We are here to change that. The OmicsLogic programs were designed to quickly introduce complex bioinformatics topics and relevant research projects to help develop understanding while avoiding the complexities of coding. The topics are explored in a project setting that combines insight into the typical problems addressed by a bioinformatician and exposure to the analysis logic, highlighted by our unique online research and learning environment, the T-BioInfo platform

The rapid growth of high-throughput data, including -omics technologies, gave rise to data-driven discovery in life sciences. Once a peripheral discipline you could easily outsource, bioinformatics is quickly becoming mainstream in life science research. Many high impact journals will only publish if a rigorous bioinformatics analysis is included in the results and methods portions of the publication. Moreover, a common expectation for students and researchers is to be able to continuously mine data produced in their labs and available in the public domain for new insights before any new data is generated.

OmicsLogic Transcriptomics Training Program
The OmicsLogic Transcriptomics program will introduce real-world applications of RNA-seq and provide participants with hands-on skills and logical background to the full RNA-seq analysis approach. We will review methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis of mRNA expression in a sample. Other session will focus on how data is generated using Next Generation Sequencing. Practical sessions will guide participants to use the methods we review on several project datasets to practice generating a table of expression from raw FASTq files and perform subsequent analysis of this table of gene and isoform expression.

Sciomics Data Science & Bioinformatics Club
The Bioinformatics and Data science club SCIOMICS is an initiative taken by the students associated with Pine Biotech. The goal of the SCIOMICS Club is to help students learn about bioinformatics research via group sessions, easy to take courses, debates, and discussions. The SCIOMICS club aims at encouraging young minds to push their critical thinking limits beyond the school and college curriculum. To promote inquisitiveness and inculcate principles of applied learning among the students. The focus of the club is to debate, discuss and exchange ideas and build up the spirit of scientific temper among the members.
