While doing the course, Transcriptomics 1, I could not understand many things about unsupervised analysis. Hence, I contacted the mentors of this course and they helped me right away, clearing many of my confusions. So, here are somethings mentioned below so that it help others too:
Unsupervised analysis can be done by using the unsupervised analysis function in the platform. Link: https://server.t-bio.info/pipelinesunsupervisedanalysis/new?tags=Unsupervisedanalysis.
See this video explaining about how can we perform this analysis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iXSkCCjVRI&feature=youtu.be.
The advantage of unsupervised analysis is that it makes a scatter plot itself and we do not need to make it in excel. While making PCA using unsupervised analysis, we have to add another row with name ‘Group’ after the first row. ‘Group’ row should be in second place. This will help in determining separation between samples by labelling them in the graph. See video for further information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRM8hQXhhRw&feature=youtu.be.
